As a Senior Automation Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role within a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing quality engineering capabilities across various domains.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with your team to deliver optimal solutions that meet customer requirements, taking full ownership of applications from conception to deployment.
- Maintain a strong focus on the quality of your work, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to security protocols.
- Utilize your extensive technical expertise to define, implement, and sustain efficient automated testing frameworks across the testing spectrum, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop a comprehensive testing strategy and ensure the availability of appropriate test data.
- Identify and implement effective quality assurance solutions, particularly where automation faces challenges.
- Mentor and support colleagues, sharing your in-depth knowledge to enhance their skills in software quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve tools, processes, and methodologies, always prioritizing customer satisfaction and fostering a culture of quality ownership.
- Engage with Product Owners to ensure that feature specifications are testable, advocating for methodologies such as test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on increasing automation efficiency.
- Effectively communicate your ideas and take initiative to turn concepts into actionable outcomes, collaborating with Practice teams and Group Enabler teams to explore and test innovative approaches and tools.
- Actively participate in Communities of Practice, contributing to shared initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Extensive knowledge and experience in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices within an agile framework.
- Strong technical skills across all quality assurance domains, including automation and performance testing.
- Proficient in software engineering practices such as BDD and TDD.
- Proven track record in defining and executing quality strategies at scale.
- Significant experience in comprehensive application testing, including RESTful services and frontend applications.
- Familiarity with testing tools, including BDD frameworks like Cucumber, API testing tools, and CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Customer-focused with a dedication to delivering exceptional digital products and services.
- Exemplary engineering craftsmanship mindset.
