Job Title: Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and support of our internal Linux clients and servers in our in-house data center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration and support of internal Linux clients and servers in the in-house data center
  • Installation, configuration, and further development of the highly available internal Linux system landscape
  • Ensuring trouble-free operation, including with the help of Ansible, Gitlab, and Docker
  • Contributing to the planning, coordination, and implementation of IT projects
  • Direct communication with other IT teams to further develop the IT landscape
  • Support for other systems in the areas of virtualization (VMware), backup (Veeam), and storage
  • Support in operational 2nd level support
Requirements:
  • Experience in the administration of Linux server systems
  • Specialist knowledge in the areas of system administration and network administration
  • Knowledge in the areas of storage, VMware, and backup is desirable
  • Analytical and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German
