As an Accounts Payable Specialist at DC Aviation, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions related to our suppliers and service providers. Your expertise will ensure that all accounts payable processes are executed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Management: Review, record, and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring all deliveries and services are accurately accounted for.
- Corporate Credit Card Oversight: Handle the processing of corporate credit card statements, ensuring compliance with expenditure policies for various departments.
- Payment Processing: Prepare payment proposals and execute payment runs in a timely manner to maintain good supplier relationships.
- Expense Recording: Ensure timely recording of expenses (ARAP/PRAP) and manage reconciliations and resolutions in subsequent periods.
- Supplier Reconciliation: Conduct account reconciliations with suppliers to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain comprehensive overviews and statistics, ensuring proper cash bookkeeping practices are followed.
- VAT Refund Processing: Collaborate closely with service providers to process VAT refund applications for both EU and non-EU countries.
- Closing Activities: Assist in the monthly and annual closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Completion of commercial training with relevant experience in accounts payable.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a structured and precise working style, demonstrating conscientiousness and independence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and exhibit a proactive approach.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with DATEV is a plus.
- Fluent in German and possess good command of English.
