Data Analytics Intern with Focus on Database Design

As a Data Analytics Intern with a focus on database design, you will be responsible for developing data loading and transformation procedures in R, SQL, and Java. You will also support the development and related tasks of our analytical database, implement and monitor automated test runs, and analyze and validate results using SQL, R, or Excel.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have studies in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, data science, or related fields. You should also have the ability to work full-time for 3 months with an option to extend in part-time. Understanding of actuarial figures, such as IFRS P&L, PVFP, VNB, or other SII KPIs, is a plus. You will need to have a high degree of motivation to learn new technologies and a hands-on problem-solving mentality. Profound knowledge and experience in SQL and R, Java skills are an additional asset. Confidence in the use of Excel and MS Office 360 tools is also required. Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills are essential.
