Finance Practice Manager

AURELIUS Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Task Force, a specialized team of advisors with extensive expertise and significant management experience. Our mission is to drive value creation in our portfolio companies through effective project management and strategic change initiatives across various sectors including Procurement, Operations, Sales/Marketing, IT, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough due diligence during the acquisition of companies.
- Perform rapid assessments to identify optimization opportunities in portfolio companies post-acquisition.
- Enhance the finance organization for improved efficiency.
- Refine forecasting and budgeting methodologies.
- Assist the CFO/FD in transitioning to new ownership while establishing benchmarks for internal reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecasts, including indirect cash flow projections.
- Manage short-term liquidity planning and oversight.
- Facilitate the operational rollout of various financial products.
- Act as the primary liaison for multiple financing partners, including banks and credit insurers.
- Develop controlling frameworks and KPI systems to support data-driven management.
- Conduct gap analyses and implement immediate corrective actions.
- A university degree or equivalent experience in business or economics, coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally with a leading management consulting firm or a Big4 organization.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, paired with a confident and entrepreneurial demeanor.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, result-oriented approach, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A practical, hands-on attitude.
- Ability to guide teams through critical transformations with sensitivity and agility.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills, particularly in German, are advantageous but not mandatory.
