The Finance Team:
Our Finance team comprises passionate product advocates committed to crafting top-tier Business Applications tailored for the Finance sector, focusing on critical processes such as Accounts Payable and Receivable. These Business Applications are specifically designed solutions that address significant challenges within their respective areas. They exemplify best practices in leveraging Celonis in innovative manners that extend the capabilities of our platform. The team boasts a robust blend of technical expertise and a customer-centric approach, ensuring the development of impactful products that resonate with our clientele.
The Role Overview:
We seek an adept people manager capable of transforming an already proficient product team into a key player in delivering value to Celonis clients. Currently, Finance processes like Accounts Payable and Receivable are among the most frequently analyzed with Celonis. There exists a substantial opportunity to broaden our current offerings with additional use cases and process domains within Finance. Your expertise in the Finance sector will be invaluable as you serve as the liaison between clients, our Go-To-Market teams, and our Product & Engineering divisions, shaping the trajectory of Celonis' Business Applications in this area. This is your opportunity to redefine how organizations manage Finance processes and assist our clients in realizing their value through Celonis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of product managers dedicated to the creation of new applications for Finance processes.
- Cultivate the existing talent within the Business Applications division, emphasizing product strategy and customer insights.
- Engage directly with clients and the go-to-market teams to identify customer requirements in emerging Finance processes and develop valuable solutions.
- Formulate a comprehensive vision and product strategy for the Finance sector.
- Collaborate with the Celonis leadership team, Go-To-Market, and Product Management and Engineering units to secure alignment on the vision and product strategy.

Required Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of experience in Product Management, Solution Engineering, Consulting, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading a team of product managers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes, particularly those associated with SAP and/or Oracle.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including familiarity with tools native to the Celonis platform: SQL, PQL, and Python.
- Enthusiasm for navigating ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic environment characteristic of a rapidly growing innovative company.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
