About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Manager to join our Research & Development team at Leica Microsystems. As a key member of our Software Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of software testing strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute software testing plans and strategies to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Lead a team of test experts to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for microscopy applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software testing into the development process.
  • Identify and prioritize testing requirements, and develop test cases and scripts to meet those requirements.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and infrastructure to support software testing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on leadership and team management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading software testing teams and implementing testing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
