Manager Software Test (f/m/d)

Leica Microsystems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Software Test to join our Research & Development team in Mannheim, Germany. As a key member of our Software Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of software testing strategies and processes to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of test experts in the development and execution of software tests for microscopy applications
  • Plan and coordinate the operational deployment of resources to ensure the implementation of the innovation plan
  • Ensure compliance with prescribed development processes and methods, and optimize them as needed
  • Plan, lead, and support the qualification and assessment of employees
  • Provide technical support to various teams, including RA&QA, Production, Technical Service, and Product Management
  • Collaborate with software test leaders at other LMS development sites to create synergies, establish joint processes, and share best practices
Requirements
  • Completed studies in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences
  • Relevant leadership experience with proven success in personnel development
  • Many years of professional experience in manual software testing and software test automation
  • Strong conceptual and communication skills, with a good understanding of systems and applications
  • Good knowledge of English and German
