Key Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will implement advanced and innovative automation technologies for safety-critical or regulated applications.
  • You will create designs for the verification and validation of complex, state-based or model-based electrical and instrumentation safety functions, collaborating closely with internal clients and technology units.
  • Your role will involve advising and supporting clients in all aspects of safety-related automation technology throughout the complete safety life cycle of safety-related programmable logic controllers (SPLC).
  • You will participate in technology development, identifying new methodologies and opportunities for process automation in challenging applications.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional degree in natural sciences, ideally complemented by a doctorate.
  • Preferably, experience in functional safety.
  • High levels of commitment and initiative.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills to address complex issues and propose structured solutions.
  • Responsible work ethic to achieve long-term company objectives.
