Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in User Research Initiatives: Assist senior colleagues in conducting interviews, surveys, and usability tests to learn effective research methodologies.
  • Develop Skills Gradually: Take on progressively challenging assignments as you gain experience, eventually leading research projects independently.
  • Support Data Analysis Efforts: Aid in analyzing research outcomes to identify user trends and challenges, initially under the mentorship of experienced team members.
  • Collaborate on UX/UI Projects: Work closely with seasoned designers and UX teams on diverse projects, acquiring valuable skills and insights.
  • Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Document research activities and assist in creating clear reports with guidance from your mentor.
  • Engage in Continuous Learning: Embrace ongoing learning opportunities and benefit from practical mentorship experiences.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in areas such as Psychology, Design, UX, Media Science, or Innovation.
  • Enthusiasm for User Research: A strong curiosity about user behavior and a desire to contribute to user-centered design.
  • Interest in UX/UI Principles: A solid inclination towards understanding UX/UI concepts, research methodologies, and techniques.
  • Portfolio Presentation: Showcase your research capabilities and problem-solving skills through previous projects.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Proficient in both verbal and written communication to collaborate efficiently with the team.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to research data and findings.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit for working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: An initiative-driven mindset for addressing challenges and exploring new opportunities.
  • Technical Curiosity: A basic understanding of software tools used in research and data analysis is beneficial.

The UPI (User and Product Insights) team at SAP Signavio plays a pivotal role in user research and product insights. Our mission is to provide product and engineering teams with strategic insights that facilitate informed decision-making regarding product strategy, development, and innovation. We aim to enhance user experiences and support SAP Signavio's mission of guiding customers through their digital transformation journeys.
