Overview

Job Title: Senior Medical Advisor

Department: Medical

Reports to: Group Medical Director

Key Responsibilities
  • Rapidly familiarize with new and diverse medical specialties, including cardiology, immunology, oncology, and neurology
  • Monitor healthcare policy, market trends, and competitors from a medical-scientific perspective, identifying emerging trends and developments
  • Effectively summarize clinical studies and reference materials
  • Prepare and coordinate the approval process
  • Translate complex medical content into compelling marketing arguments
  • Brief project management and creation teams on key content
  • Manage day-to-day business operations
  • Maintain relationships with external medical professionals and clients, with occasional travel required
  • Develop and create medical-scientific content, including sales materials, scientific slide kits, and study overviews
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on specialist topics
  • Collaborate on customer presentations and participate in customer meetings
  • Potentially moderate expert group meetings, such as advisory boards
  • Record and summarize congress content
  • Contribute to pitch presentations and support the development of an internal medical network
  • Train and educate team members
Requirements
  • Completed scientific or medical studies, preferably with a doctorate
  • At least 4-6 years of experience as a medical consultant, preferably in healthcare marketing or medical education
  • Excellent German language skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Confident appearance and interaction with clients
  • Strong self-organization and planning skills, with ease in meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Ability to work with scientific precision and accuracy
  • Presentation skills
  • Familiarity with reference program Veeva PM is a plus
