Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT SOC Team. As a key member of our Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), you will play a critical role in investigating and mitigating cyber security threats targeting the travel industry.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and triaging security events, participating in security incident response processes, and collaborating with our CERT team to prevent future incidents. You will also be responsible for communicating and following up on potential security risks detected by the SOC.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of network and systems architecture, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrix environment. If you are passionate about helping business units understand and establish acceptable levels of risk, and proactively reducing the potential for incidents that pose security threats, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and triage security events according to SOC-CSIRT processes
- Participate in security incident response processes and investigate security alerts
- Support the review, assessment, and validation of the effectiveness of SOC L1 service
- Communicate and follow up on potential security risks detected by the SOC
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Industry certification such as GCIH, GCIA, CCNA, CEH, or comparable is a plus. You should have a strong interest in cyber security, potentially backed up with initial work experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
