Job Title: Business Security Specialist, Security / Kaufmännischer Mitarbeiter (m/w/d) Logistik Sicherheit

Job Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training and experience in building security with security systems such as access controls, video systems, and intrusion alarm systems
  • Independent, structured, and service-oriented work
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams)
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Good comprehension and decision-making skills
  • Communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Resilience, assertiveness
  • Training experience beneficial
  • Occasional travel in the DACH region, driver's license class B mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Creation, implementation, updating, and monitoring of internal security policies, security concepts, processes, and forms considering relevant laws and group-wide requirements
  • Support with the implementation of global DSV Security Standards in the area of security technology (electronic access control, video systems, and intrusion alarm systems) and developing a security concept based on this
  • Central administration of security systems including user training and participation in operational agreements
  • Preparation of training materials and conducting training sessions
  • Support in the preparation of external audits/controls (e.g., SAFE, TAPA, etc.)
  • Support for security projects with suppliers and other project participants

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement global security standards and develop security concepts
  • Manage security systems, including user training and operational agreements
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance security awareness and skills
  • Support audit and control processes to ensure security standards are met
  • Contribute to security projects with suppliers and other stakeholders
