Lead System Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Lead System Design Engineer (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and assess supplier proposals (both hardware and software) in collaboration with various departments.
- Provide proactive support to suppliers throughout the development process to ensure compliance with established requirements.
- Execute development and design tasks efficiently and cost-effectively for customized avionics, including electrical and mechanical integration.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in current and future Mission Management System solutions.
- Assist production, customer service, and program teams.
- Advise clients on the technical specifications of customized equipment.
- Ensure timely documentation for approvals and deliveries.
- Support procurement in selecting suppliers and shaping product strategies.
- Offer technical guidance to program management on operational and strategic decisions.
- Conduct training sessions for pilots and technical staff.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Design Engineer (m/f/d) is essential.
- Background in system development is required.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel within the country.
