IT Project Management Specialist

Your Role

As an IT Project Management Specialist, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of medium to large-scale IT projects utilizing agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, approach, and facilitate the successful completion of IT projects.
  • Serve as an Agile Coach and Project Manager, coordinating the project backlog for the agile development team.
  • Develop project charters and provide effort estimations during the scoping and budget approval phases.
  • Initiate IT projects based on approved charters and manage the staffing of project teams effectively.
  • Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders in both Business and IT, aligning with related projects.
  • Take accountability for project budgets, reporting, and ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact project success.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in IT project management, particularly in application development, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven expertise in agile project management methodologies, especially Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing projects that deliver tangible business value.
  • Collaborative working style that fosters accountability and knowledge sharing.
  • High commitment level and the ability to navigate various tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Reinsurance and/or Claims core business processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
  • A degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in Business English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
