IT Project Management Specialist

Your Role

As an IT Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of medium to large-scale IT initiatives using agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the project scope, approach, and ensure the effective facilitation and completion of IT projects.
  • Serve as an Agile Coach and Project Manager, guiding an agile development team and managing the project backlog.
  • Develop project charters and provide effort estimations during the scoping and budget approval phases.
  • Initiate IT projects based on approved charters and manage the staffing of project teams effectively.
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders across Business and IT, ensuring alignment with related projects.
  • Oversee project budgets, reporting, and ensure the timely delivery of project objectives within budget constraints.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact project success.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in IT project management, particularly in application development, with a solid understanding of the software development and product life cycle.
  • Proven expertise in agile project management methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing projects that deliver tangible business value and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborative working style that fosters accountability and knowledge sharing.
  • High commitment level and a proactive approach to mastering various tasks.
  • Familiarity with Reinsurance and/or Claims core business processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
  • A university degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in Business English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
