Senior Wafer Fab Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Wafer Fab Operations team. As Vice President Wafer Fab Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-end wafer fabrication process, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Wafer Fab Operations team, including process engineers, equipment engineers, tool operators, and equipment maintenance technicians.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fab operations uptime, production cycle time, yield, and operational productivity.
- Manage key subcontractor relationships with suppliers that support fab operations, including tools, materials, chemicals, and gases.
- Interface with industry, universities, and national laboratories to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and create pipelines for key talent.
- Forecast and track fab operation costs and ensure they are within budget.
- Implement a culture of continuous operational improvement within the Fab Operations team.
- Manage foundries to ensure the same KPIs execution as internal manufacturing, including yield and cost improvement.
- Masters degree in material science, chemistry, physics, or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of management experience in Front End wafer Fab management positions, with at least 10 years of experience in a Front End Factory or management of Front End managing engineers, maintenance, equipment engineering, process engineering, and operators.
- Experience in developing and implementing new Fab from greenfield will be a positive addition.
- Extensive knowledge of 8D, OCAPs, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with SPC, FDC, and automation systems.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and create a strong team environment.
- Capable of promoting cross-functional collaboration and leadership, fostering a positive and cohesive team across the site.
