Role Overview
In this position, you will engage in the development of innovative business models and technological solutions aimed at creating a sustainable and forward-thinking energy supply. Your contributions will play a vital role in shaping the future of energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee external clients' energy portfolios and provide hedging recommendations based on market assessments and risk policies.
- Generate comprehensive market, portfolio, and risk analysis reports.
- Facilitate risk management workshops and portfolio discussions with clients.
- Innovate and develop new service offerings.
- Execute or mediate market transactions.
- Assist in acquiring new Portfolio Management clients.
- Adhere to the regulations set forth by the German financial supervisory authority (BaFin).
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree in a relevant field or demonstrate substantial experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of the energy market is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with risk management practices is advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Practical experience in trading, sales, portfolio management, or market analysis is beneficial.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of business principles.
- Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Swedish, Dutch, or French is a plus.
