Green Power Portfolio Strategist

At Uniper, we are proactively transforming the world of energy while ensuring security of energy supply. Our Green Power Portfolio Team in Düsseldorf is looking for a talented individual to join our team of portfolio strategy and product development experts.

Your responsibilities

  • Formulate business strategy for expansion of Uniper's Green Power Portfolio (GPP) in collaboration with our team of experts.
  • Leverage inputs from Origination, Sales, and Market Analytics to identify and define products and markets to grow the GPP business in a profitable manner.
  • Develop an implementation roadmap in close collaboration with relevant internal teams, including coordinating development of contracts and term sheets.
  • Coordinate and provide input into the development of Mid-Term Planning exercise for GPP.
  • Manage interfaces and collaborate with other commercial functions, including Global Origination, Sales, and relevant Power teams.
  • Build a strong knowledge of current and emerging market regulations and trends that affect the GPP, providing commercial feedback into applicable consultation processes for market reforms/regulatory changes.

Your profile

  • Genuine interest in and knowledge of electricity markets in Europe.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in energy transactions or advisory.
  • Strong commercial awareness and growth mindset.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. economics, strategy, any quantitative subject).
