We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented researcher to join our team at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. This project involves exploring network synchronization in a genetic mouse model of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in collaboration with the Presynaptic Plasticity Lab and the Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of local field potential signals and neural network synchronization.
- Perform data processing and signal analysis to identify patterns of network oscillations.
- Collaborate with our research team to discuss findings and plan further studies.
- Present results and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of the project.
- Background in engineering, computer science, or physics.
- Proficiency in programming with MATLAB.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data analysis and signal processing.
You will be registered with the Presynaptic Plasticity Lab and work under the joint supervision of Prof. Alexey Ponomarenko and Prof. Anna Fejtova, in close interaction with the scientists involved in the project.
Work Arrangement:This is a part-time position.
