About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydropower Design Engineer to join our team at Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing sophisticated engineering structures in the hydropower sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop detailed solutions in each planning phase of the project in coordination with the project team.
  • Internal consultation and coordination with specialist planners and the project manager during the planning process.
  • Creation of 3D models and construction drawings using common CAD/BIM software.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified technical drafter, civil drafter, state-certified civil engineering technician, or graduate (bachelor's/master's degree) in civil engineering.
  • Relevant professional experience in structural or hydraulic engineering.
  • Proficient in the use of common CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit).
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Flexibility in producing drawings for a wide range of projects from Germany and abroad.
  • Very good spatial visualization ability.
  • Self-reliant, team-oriented, and goal-oriented way of working.
  • A very good command of the English language.
