Job Title: Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of a variant-optimized modular system for the Modular System product portfolio with regard to compressed air device installation and compressed air/electrical line routing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external development partners to design and develop innovative solutions.
  • Elaborate concepts, installation space investigations, and documentation to ensure efficient and effective development processes.
  • Carry out 3D analyses to verify the developed solutions on prototype and predecessor vehicles in the production pre-series center.
  • Creation of installation, assembly, and detail drawings in 3D and 2D to ensure accurate and precise documentation.
  • Compliance with project targets in terms of costs, deadlines, and quality to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed technical studies or comparable training in mechanical engineering or vehicle construction (engineer, master, bachelor, technician).
  • Software knowledge: Catia V5, Windchill, or OAS.
  • Professional experience in engineering, preferably in the development of individual parts, components, and assemblies.
  • Very good knowledge in the development of individual parts, components, and assemblies.
  • Good overall vehicle knowledge desirable.
  • Experience in projects and PEP process desirable.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
  • Other skills: structured way of working, ability to work in a team, assertiveness, agile and independent action.
