Key ResponsibilitiesYour Role:
As an IT Service Specialist, you will be integral to maintaining the efficiency of our IT services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Assistance: Provide prompt and effective technical support to users through various channels. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot IT-related problems, employing diagnostic tools to swiftly address concerns.
- Client Interaction: Ensure high-quality customer service by professionally handling user inquiries and requests.
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular updates and maintenance on IT systems to guarantee optimal functionality and security.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations for future reference.
- User Education: Facilitate training sessions to improve users' IT skills and promote effective technology use.
- Security Compliance: Assist in the implementation of IT security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team and other departments to enhance IT processes and systems.
- Remote Assistance: Provide remote support to clients as necessary.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Process-oriented approach.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities in both German and English.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices.
- Knowledge of various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
