Logistics Administration Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Administration Specialist to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the organization and optimization of all local logistics inbound and outbound processes and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and optimize logistics processes and solutions to ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Schedule materials and parts to meet deadlines and orders, ensuring serviceability in the field, SSC, and customer locations.
- Define minimum and maximum stock levels for service storage locations.
- Determine delivery types and rhythms based on customer agreements and regional trade regulations.
- Implement requirements for cleanliness and packaging, ensuring cleanroom suitability.
- Develop and implement repair processes for returns from the field.
- Support escalation and ensure material availability accordingly.
- Analyze material supply bottlenecks and initiate measures to eliminate them.
- Coordinate bridging options and agree special measures with suppliers.
- Ensure security of supply for new product launches and optimize costs.
- Maintain links with in-house support functions and suppliers.
- Participate in best practice exchange and logistics community of practice.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in supply chain, service logistics, or a related field. Your profile should include:
- Studies in Economy, Engineering, or a similar field, with a focus on supply chain or logistics.
- At least 5 years of work experience in supply chain, service logistics, or a related field.
- Experience as an export officer or export manager.
- Basic knowledge of relevant trade compliance matters.
- Proficiency in SAP SD and MM modules, as well as MS Office tools.
- Basic experience in project management, preferably in an international environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in intercultural teams.
- Solid basis of English business language.
