Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Technical Global Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks to ensure site personnel are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports to the line manager, highlighting site activities and any issues that require attention.
  • Liaise with other trades to coordinate site activities and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Plan and prepare for upcoming work, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are available.
  • Attend daily meetings to discuss site progress and address any concerns.
  • Ensure labor requirements are met and maintained in accordance with project timelines.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards, ensuring all electrical work is completed to the required specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they are working efficiently and safely.
  • Notify the line manager of any variations or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Verify that all plant materials and equipment are certified and in good working condition.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to on site, and that all subcontractors are working safely.
  • Review and implement changes to improve safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring all site areas are clean and organized.
  • Complete weekly safety checks and report any issues to the line manager.
Requirements:
  • Relevant 3rd-level electrical degree qualification.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
  • Data Centre experience is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
