Regional Director for the Middle East

Your Responsibilities- Oversee the execution of projects across the region, particularly in water supply and sanitation, with a significant emphasis on initiatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This encompasses contract oversight, resource management, quality assurance, collaboration with local office and project managers, invoicing, payment tracking, and financial control of project funds.
- Provide on-site and remote support to clients from the headquarters in Germany.
- Engage in regular travel throughout the region.
- Supervise and guide the operations of FWT offices within the region.
- Actively contribute to business growth and sales initiatives in the area, including market analysis, identifying business prospects and partners, developing Expressions of Interest, and preparing technical and financial proposals, along with follow-up on submissions.
- Occasionally offer technical support in projects or project management within the region or beyond.
- In the long run, there is potential to assume responsibility for additional or different regions.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply and Sanitation, Process/Environmental Technology, or a related field (Dipl.-Ing. or M.Eng./M.Sc. degree).
- Extensive knowledge and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience working in an international environment, preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong persuasive abilities, dedication, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
- Self-reliant, organized, responsible, and efficient work approach.
- Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
