International Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Tax Manager to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our Global Tax Function, you will be responsible for managing international tax activities within a dedicated region, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize tax processes for foreign subsidiaries within an assigned portfolio
- Develop and implement global tax guidelines for DB Schenker business
- Support business projects from a tax perspective and analyze information for global tax forecasting and reporting
- Support tax analysis advice for acquisitions, disposals, and reorganizations
- Assist in structuring decisions and defining tax language in contract reviews
- Support interaction and negotiation with tax authorities on international tax matters
- Support tax components of global projects and initiatives
- Anticipate new regulations and implement DB Group tax strategy and policy
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, or similar degree with focus on accounting, controlling, and/or tax
- Extensive relevant experience in managing complex international tax matters
- Certification as tax advisor preferred but not required
- Business fluency in English as a requirement, German as an advantage
- Good understanding of system landscape, MS Office, SAP, and interest in tax process automation
