Indirect Tax Services Manager

Work alongside your team in the Indirect Tax Services sector, providing expert advice to our clients on all matters related to national and international sales tax law, as well as customs, foreign trade, export control, and excise tax law, particularly in light of current ESG challenges.
Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to strategically support the Indirect Tax Services – ESG area with your expertise, here’s how you can contribute:
- Advise and assist national and international clients on all aspects of Environmental Taxes (such as energy and electricity taxes, plastic tax, and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism).
- Provide comprehensive guidance on the implementation of ESG Compliance Management Systems.
- Prepare relief applications and tax returns.
- Additionally, support our clients in establishing ESG Reporting.
- To become a (Senior) Manager Indirect Tax - ESG (w/m/d) with us, you should hold a degree in finance, economics, or law, with a focus on European Economic Law, International Law and Business, or Tax Law.
- You should have substantial professional experience in relevant areas of indirect taxation, such as customs administration or in industry and/or consulting firms.
- Basic knowledge of excise tax law, particularly in energy and electricity taxation, is also required.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications is expected.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Your strong team orientation and willingness to travel will complete your qualifications.
