Transformative Opportunity for a Cloud Solutions Expert
Oracle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Expert to join our Cloud Applications team in Germany. As an Industry Lead Solution Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic, cross-line-of-business opportunities within a specific industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive X-LOB Oracle Cloud Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of integrated Oracle solutions tailored to the specific industry's needs, focusing on cross-functional opportunities and aligning relevant Oracle teams and resources to deliver comprehensive proposals.
- Cultivate strong, proactive relationships with key customers, understanding their business processes and challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor, becoming intimately involved in their strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers and the Oracle Customer Development team to identify business pains and develop compelling Oracle value propositions, leveraging industry knowledge and Oracle expertise to propose innovative solutions.
- Involve, motivate, and manage diverse Oracle teams, including presales, consulting, development, industry communities to realize the proposed Oracle solution, engaging external partners when required to enhance the customer's architecture.
- Work closely with the Account Executive (AE) as a dedicated business partner, enabling the sales team by providing industry expertise, pitching Oracle's differentiators, and demonstrating the overall value proposition.
- Lead discovery sessions with customers, involving major stakeholders and articulating Oracle's vision and capabilities, effectively communicating the proposed solution's benefits and managing customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Extensive industry knowledge, demonstrated understanding of customer businesses and processes, with a focus on one or two industries (Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Health, Logistics, and others).
- Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a shared vision within the customer development team.
- Domain expertise, possessing expert-level knowledge in at least one Oracle domain (e.g., HCM, ERP, SCM, CX) and a strong basic understanding of the remaining domains.
- Technical proficiency, with basic technical skills including integration, security, and database knowledge, and the ability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition, focusing on industry-specific benefits.
- Network builder, with the ability to build and expand professional networks, both internally within Oracle and externally with customers and partners.
- Problem-solving and facilitation skills, proactive in approaching challenges and skilled in facilitating collaboration and creativity within teams to enhance solution effectiveness.
- Experience, typically requiring 3-5 years of solution engineering experience, with a track record of success in driving complex deals and managing customer relationships.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to travel.
