Manpower Luxembourg S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Production Assistant to join its team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with the management of translation production. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling translation projects, pre-processing documents, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume responsibility for own translation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
- Prepare texts for translation, including analysis, checking, and pre- and post-processing.
- Coordinate large projects, dealing with multiple languages and translators, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Finalize translation projects, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Supervise the translation workflow, interacting with clients and translators.
- Negotiate deadlines and consult with clients as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
- Secondary level education, complemented by a 2-year certification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a translation environment.
- Thorough knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools, preferably the SDL Studio suite.
- Excellent formatting skills and proficiency in standard office tools.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and good command of French.
