Sales Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at toom. As a Sales Associate - DIY Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advice to our customers, while also maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable advice to customers on our DIY product range
• Ensure excellent customer service and cater to the needs of our customers
• Take responsibility for product placement and promotional items in your sales area
• Perform price labeling and signage
• Make decisions within your scope, such as handling complaints and contributing product ideas

Requirements:

• Experience in retail, e.g. as a salesperson, customer service representative, or from a trade background
• Interest in our DIY product range and ideally experience as a DIY enthusiast
• Enjoy interacting with customers, selling products, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Organizational skills for independent prioritization and structuring of daily tasks
• Openness to using digital tools and inventory management systems
