Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the automation of testing processes for a cloud-based and web application focused on Cataract Surgery Planning.
  • Develop and implement test cases derived from established requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of requirements to identify areas for enhancement and consolidation.
  • Assess and determine the appropriate testing methodologies to employ: functional, regression, performance, load, stress, and integration testing (including black, gray, and white box testing).
  • Collaborate closely with the Test Manager and development teams.
  • Utilize and enhance the internal ZEISS testing framework.
  • Maintain and expand existing test cases, ensuring reusability.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in informatics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in test automation, particularly for cloud and web applications.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Typescript, Azure DevOps, and Git.
  • Experience with Gherkin (Cucumber or similar), Browserstack, and Microsoft Playwright.
  • Proficient in English, with a preference for German language skills (B1 level).
  • Strong commitment to quality, excellent communication and analytical abilities, and capacity to work within international teams.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and development processes.
  • Prior experience with test-driven development is advantageous.
