About the Role

  • Drive the test automation of a cloud and web application for Cataract Surgery Planning
  • Implement and release test cases derived from baselined requirements
  • Analyze requirements to identify potential for optimization and clustering
  • Judge and decide when to apply different types of testing
  • Closely interact and collaborate with the Test-Manager and development team
  • Use and extend the internal Zeiss test framework
  • Maintain and extend existing test cases, considering reuse

About You

  • You're studying informatics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field
  • You have solid experience in test automation, especially for cloud and web applications
  • You're proficient in Postman, Typescript, Azure DevOps, and Git
  • You have experience with Gherkin, Browserstack, and Microsoft Playwright
  • You're proficient in English and have a good understanding of German (B1)
  • You have strong quality awareness, great communication and analytic skills, and the ability to work in international teams
  • You have a good understanding of agile principles and development processes
  • Prior experience with test-driven development is a plus
