Financial Accountant

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage all accounts receivable and payable documents, including bank transactions, cash registers, and travel expense reports.
  • Process payroll accurately and ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Prepare and record rental, hire purchase, and lease agreements with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Register and reconcile fixed assets, maintaining a comprehensive inventory.
  • Reconcile open items, clearing accounts, and balance sheet entries for accurate financial reporting.
  • Initiate payment runs and process general payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Create and maintain customer and supplier master records for efficient data management.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed training as a financial or balance sheet accountant.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of German Commercial Code (HGB).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Practical user experience with DATEV accounting software.
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language proficiency.
