AnalogDream e.V., located in Berlin, is dedicated to exploring themes of gender, sexuality, and intimacy through innovative artistic expressions. The studio combines traditional painting techniques with modern interactive technologies, creating a unique artistic environment.
Our Approach
We focus on integrating various art forms, including oil paintings, interactive installations, performances, and sound design. Our distinctive 'cognitive' paintings, developed over several years, interact with their surroundings through advanced programmable LED technology, utilizing thousands of RGB warm white LEDs. By collaborating with performers and dancers, we incorporate A.I. and machine learning for enhanced movement tracking and sound recognition, enriching the sensory experience.
- Assist in the construction of cognitive paintings and LED installations, involving woodwork, metalwork, and electrical tasks.
- Support the execution of contemporary exhibitions and commissions, from initial research and development to final installation.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring the successful delivery of exhibitions, private gallery commissions, and public displays.
- Contribute to the creation and production of exhibition and commercial catalogues.
- Coordinate exhibition-related logistics, including packaging, transport, insurance, and registrar duties.
- Maintain shipping lists, obtain cost estimates, and oversee customs documentation; liaise with shippers, curators, and galleries.
- Serve as a courier for traveling exhibitions when necessary.
The ideal candidate should possess both practical skills and creative thinking abilities, demonstrating the capacity to propose innovative ideas and concepts.

What You Will GainDuring this internship, you will acquire hands-on experience working with materials such as metal, wood, canvas, and electronics. You will learn how to organize large-scale art exhibitions that blend performance, visual art, and community engagement. Additionally, you will become part of a collaborative environment that values connection and creativity.
Please note that this is an unpaid, part-time internship lasting six months, allowing you to pursue other opportunities while gaining valuable experience and responsibility. We are also interested in establishing long-term partnerships for future collaborations.
