Senior Operations Manager for External Wafer Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to oversee the performance of our external wafer manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Performance Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of key performance metrics, including yield, cycle time, line stability, and delivery performance, and drive implementation of improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Customer Returns and Fab Excursions: Manage customer returns and fab excursion tasks, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely case closure.
- Operational Deviation Correction: Own the implementation and verification of operational deviation correction actions, utilizing problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Is-Is not.
- Capacity Reservations and Forecasting: Forecast and confirm capacity reservations with foundries to meet business requirements.
- New Tape-Out Activities: Coordinate and support new tape-out activities for Business Units.
- Education: A solid educational foundation in Electronics, Physics, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Industry Experience: A strong industry background, with several years of experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in production and technology development.
- Communication Skills: The ability to make clear conclusions and present them in management summaries.
- Risk Assessment: A keen sense of risk assessment, enabling you to evaluate and make decisions while balancing benefits and risks, and recommending feasible proposals.
- Communication: High-level communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Process Experience: Experience in process integration, process modules, product engineering, or related fab experience, with IC design experience being a plus.
- Cultural Competence: A proven track record of working in a multi-cultural environment, with fluency in business conversation and presentation skills.
