Senior Operations Manager for External Semiconductor Manufacturing

As a pivotal member of our organization, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in tracking and refining performance indicators, addressing customer returns, and executing corrective measures to ensure uninterrupted production.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the monitoring of operational performance, focusing on critical metrics such as yield, cycle time, line stability, CLIP, and delivery performance, while driving the implementation of enhancements.
  • Manage customer return processes, handle fab excursion tasks, and collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt resolution of cases.
  • Take ownership of the execution and validation of operational deviation corrective actions, employing problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Is-Is not.
  • Forecast and confirm capacity reservations with foundries to align with business needs.
  • Coordinate and assist with new tape-out activities for Business Units.

Your Profile:
You are well-suited for this position if you possess:

  • A robust educational background in Electronics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A strong industry experience, with several years in the semiconductor sector, particularly in production and technology development.
  • The capability to draw clear conclusions and present them effectively in management summaries.
  • A strong aptitude for risk assessment, enabling you to evaluate and make informed decisions while balancing benefits and risks, and recommending viable proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Experience in process integration, process modules, product engineering, or related fabrication experience, with IC design experience being advantageous.
  • A proven history of working in a multicultural environment, with proficiency in business communication and presentation skills.
