Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Festo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our suppliers and products. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor supplier quality results, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and ensure compliance with our quality standards.

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure supplier compliance with our quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier quality systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Validate and initiate chargebacks to suppliers for scrap, rework, and failure costs incurred.
• Support product launch activities and ensure that purchased parts and production processes meet our quality standards.
• Participate in product and process FMEA activities to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supplier quality and reduce costs.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing or production technology.
• Several years of experience in quality management, preferably in supplier management.
• Expertise in quality methods, such as Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Strong technical knowledge of process and project management, as well as quality management systems.
• Certified process auditor according to VDA6.3.
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
