High Speed Laser Metal Deposition Field Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our international field service team for High Speed Laser Metal Deposition (HS LMD) systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service tasks in the field for HS LMD systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
- Collaborate with our development team to improve products and develop new projects.
- Conduct training and customer familiarization sessions for HS LMD systems.
- Work closely with our national service centers to provide technical support and training.
- Perform repair and maintenance tasks for Laser 3D cutting and welding systems.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
- Excellent technical understanding and experience in service, installation, and commissioning of laser systems.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- High flexibility, self-motivation, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- High European and occasional international travel readiness, as well as willingness to work occasional weekend shifts.
