We are looking for a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing a distributed and international infrastructure consisting of Linux and Windows systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation, and operation of high-availability IT infrastructures and data centers with a focus on servers, storage, backup, and network-related services based on best practices such as ITIL and BSI IT baseline protection.
- Use of the central monitoring system to analyze errors and locate potential sources of faults.
- Troubleshooting and assisting colleagues in the technical support of distributed infrastructure components.
- Ensuring detailed documentation of complex technical systems, processes, and troubleshooting strategies.
Your Profile
- Completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration, alternatively a degree in computer science, information and telecommunications technology, or a related subject.
- Several years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on servers and enterprise storage.
- In-depth knowledge of server and storage hardware from HPE, Dell, and Pure Storage.
- Extensive knowledge of working with Windows and Linux servers, VMware, TPM basic services, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- A communicative and committed personality with team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured and reliable way of working.
