Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team at McMakler GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our Portal application and ensuring the consistency of our CI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, accessible, and maintainable Frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
- Design and implement well-structured and reliable APIs in a complex problem domain.
- Optimize cross-browser compatibility and implement best practices to deliver stable applications.
- Maintain complex typings on a 100% TypeScript code base.
- Analyze existing systems and continuously improve application architecture through proactive code reviews.
- Use in-depth knowledge of debugging and maintaining React applications.
- Contribute to a future-ready, high-quality, performant, and testable code base.
- Work alongside QA experts to implement new testing strategies (e2e, unit, and integration testing).
- Contribute own ideas and participate in decision-making within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications, services, and APIs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to code in TypeScript blindfolded.
- In-depth knowledge of React, Hooks, React design patterns, and architectures.
- Experience with Server Side Rendering and NextJS.
- Prior experience with GraphQL (McMakler is 100% on GraphQL).
- Familiarity with Material-UI is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English language.
