We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team at our location in Essen. As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the operational department of primary packaging production for highly regulated products (pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics). Your focus will be on the continuous optimization of our production processes in accordance with demanding customer requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for the operational department on quality-related issues
  • Analyze process safety and derive measures to improve process safety and quality
  • Responsible for compliance with regulations and government requirements
  • Adapt and develop working instructions and documentation
  • Handle deviations, complaints, and root cause analyses
  • Track and follow up on quality improvement measures
  • Represent the Quality Department in audits and customer visits
  • Develop and maintain risk analyses
  • Track KPIs and develop measurability
  • Key User of common systems (SAP, MES, D4)
RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent trainingFirst industry experience, preferably in the automotive, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industryLean or Six Sigma knowledge is an advantageProject management knowledge is an advantageStrong communication and negotiation skills in German and EnglishWillingness to travel nationally and internationallyStrong analytical and systemic skillsHigh sense of responsibility and resilienceProactive, reliable, and independent working styleCustomer-oriented mindsetFlexibility and spontaneityAdditional Information
