Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team at our location in Essen, Germany. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, working closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements. Your tasks will include:

  • Collaborating with the production team to analyze and improve process safety and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Developing and implementing quality procedures and documentation
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues and deviations
  • Monitoring and improving quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Representing the Quality department in audits and customer visits
  • Developing and maintaining risk assessments and quality management systems
  • Tracking and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • First-hand experience in the industrial production sector, preferably in the automotive, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industry
  • Knowledge of lean or six sigma methodologies is an asset
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Strong analytical and systemic skills
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability
