Akkuracy Battery Testing GmbH is on a mission to establish itself as a frontrunner in the realm of battery safety analysis in Germany. Our focus is not on becoming a high-throughput testing facility, but rather on excelling in high-quality assessments of battery cells and conducting small-scale evaluations to enhance our understanding of battery technology. We perform a variety of rigorous abuse tests and specialized calorimetry assessments within our custom-designed laboratory environment.

Your responsibilities will encompass conducting tests, analyzing results, and contributing to the establishment of our laboratory infrastructure as our team evolves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct testing on client batteries, which includes coordinating with testing partners, setting up equipment, executing tests, and analyzing data.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain thermal runaway testing rigs for battery abuse evaluations, while developing tools to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Contribute to the establishment of our laboratory and engage in various tasks that arise in a dynamic startup environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering or a scientific discipline, or a technical background with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in battery safety testing and familiarity with laboratory settings.
  • A strong interest in battery technology and a hands-on approach to work.
  • Proficient communication skills in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
