Key Responsibilities

You will report directly to the 'Battery Assembly Supervisor' and collaborate with our production crew. The battery assembly unit is responsible for all procedures related to the assembly of power systems, delivering cutting-edge battery technology for our aircraft. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Ensuring safety, timely delivery, and quality throughout all stages of the assembly process
  • Assembling both low-voltage and high-voltage battery components and systems
  • Managing inventory of parts, tools, and equipment
  • Troubleshooting issues and communicating defects to the relevant teams
  • Recording manufacturing data in the production system
  • Working alongside the manufacturing engineering team to enhance processes, equipment, tooling, and repair solutions

Your Qualifications

  • Completed training as a technician or equivalent qualification (f/m/d)
  • Several years of experience in manufacturing and/or repairing electromechanical components
  • Proficient in the safe handling of medium and high voltage systems up to 1kV DC voltage
  • Some experience with high power battery systems, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Initial experience with modern production machinery, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Willingness to work in shifts (2-shift operation: early and late shifts)
