Position Overview: Specialist in Policy Issues for Stabilization Support – Focus on Process and Risk Management (m/f/d)

Welcome to the Stabilization Support division. Our core responsibility involves overseeing the COVID relief initiatives on behalf of Schleswig-Holstein. Success in this role hinges on close cooperation with the state government and external service providers. We prioritize the needs of clients utilizing various funding programs, providing comprehensive guidance on all facets of their funding applications through a methodical and quality-focused approach.

Your Expertise Will Be Key In:

  • Conducting systematic evaluations of COVID relief program applications as part of a thorough risk management strategy.
  • Serving as the primary contact for all matters related to official regulations, ensuring our guidelines and processes remain current and appropriate.
  • Assisting the department in the development of a new database to compile essential information beyond regulatory requirements, adhering to the need-to-know principle.
  • Engaging in departmental projects and representing the department in cross-functional initiatives as required, potentially leading projects or sub-projects.
  • Handling a variety of responsibilities, aiding the team with tasks ranging from regulatory compliance to delivering employee information and training sessions.

Qualifications Required:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in project/process management and conducting evaluations, preferably within a banking context.
  • Additional experience in managing funding activities or grant programs is advantageous.
  • You are an open-minded, responsible individual who enjoys exploring new topics, driving change, following a structured approach, and collaborating with others towards the sustainable development of our state.
