We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Integration Specialist to join our team at Sono Motors GmbH. As a key member of our Electrical Integration Team, you will play a crucial role in further developing our core products and creating electrical interfaces with our customers' vehicles.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Testing and Validation: You will be responsible for testing and validating our Power Electronic Units as well as the electrical interfaces with customers' vehicles.
- Collaboration and Planning: You will collaborate with internal engineers and external testing laboratory partners to define test cases and plans to validate our prototypes and products.
- Component Testing: You will be responsible for testing and validation of our components in-house, directly working on test benches and vehicles.
- Quality Management: You will work closely with our Quality Engineers to manage longitudinal defect documentation and help the development team resolve issues.
- Test System Setup: You will set up our test systems and prepare the first steps towards test automation.
- Product Improvement: You will work closely with the development team to improve the quality of our product and test specifications.
- Device Maintenance: You will be responsible for manual soldering rework, configuration, and maintenance of our devices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Professional Experience: More than 2 years of professional experience in testing and validation of Power Electronics within the automotive, bus, or truck industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Broad knowledge of standard testing and validation procedures from the automotive industry.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of the functionality of Solar Systems, automotive High Voltage handling certifications, and experience in setting up and programming test automation systems.
- Electrical Test Equipment: Good working knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.).
- Hands-on Approach: A hands-on mentality and the ability to enjoy working on the test bench or vehicles.
- Language Skills: Fluent English is a must, and fluent German is a plus.
- Flexibility: A high level of flexibility to adapt to the daily tasks and a willingness to work in a small but motivated team.
