Electrical Integration Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Engineer to join our Electrical Integration Team, focusing on transportation applications. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing our core products and creating EE interfaces with our customers' vehicles.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Testing and validation of our Power Electronic Units and electrical interfaces with customers' vehicles
  • Collaborating with internal engineers and external testing laboratory partners to define test cases and plans for validating our prototypes and products
  • Testing and validation of our components in-house, working directly on test benches and vehicles
  • Correlating with our Quality Engineers to manage longitudinal defect documentation and help the development team resolve issues
  • Setting up our test systems and preparing the first steps towards test automation
  • Working closely with the development team to improve the quality of our product and test specifications
  • Responsible for manual soldering rework, configuration, and maintenance of our devices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • More than 2 years of professional experience in testing and validation of Power Electronics within the automotive, bus, or truck industry
  • Broad knowledge of standard testing and validation procedures from the automotive industry
  • Solid knowledge of the functionality of Solar Systems
  • Automotive High Voltage handling certifications are a strong plus
  • Experience in setting up and programming test automation systems
  • Good working knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.)
  • A hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working on the test bench or vehicles
  • Certified tester level is a plus
  • Fluent English is a must; fluent German is a plus
  • A high level of flexibility in daily tasks
