POSITION SUMMARY
As a Payroll Consultant specializing in SAP HCM at TUI Group, you will play a crucial role within the HR & Travel Expenses team, assisting the Technology Team Leader in various initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the execution of process enhancement projects and the standardization of operational workflows and systems. You will concentrate on the technical dimensions of these projects, such as payroll configurations, data transfers, integration efforts, and collaboration in development tasks. It is essential to address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
You will oversee the operational relationship with external nearshore and offshore development and service providers, focusing on planning, execution, and quality assurance. Engaging proactively with the end-user community is vital for the success of our team.
TEAM OVERVIEW:
The HR & Travel Expenses team manages TUI's corporate systems related to payroll and travel expenditures, operating in an international context to support HR departments across various countries.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience with SAP HCM processes, including:
- Payroll execution and related activities
- Social security and tax reporting
- Payroll accounting and disbursements - Expertise in customizing HCM modules, such as:
- Personnel administration
- Payroll management
- Time tracking
- Organizational structure
- Self-service portals - Ability to implement SAP Notes, ensuring:
- Accurate application of semi-annual legal updates in HCM
- Addressing SAP Note issues and new legal requirements - In-depth technical knowledge of SAP Human Resource modules, including:
- SAP HCM
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and its integration with SAP HCM (CPI)
- ABAP/4 programming - Support for Change Management Processes, including:
- Participation in cloud projects for Employee Central migration and data replication
- Coordination with external consultants
- Onboarding of new users - Strong understanding of payroll customization, including wage types, payroll schemes, and functions
- Prior experience in SAP HR consulting
- Familiarity with Human Resources business processes
- Fluency in English and German is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
