About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Lead to join our team at Eppdata GmbH. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT infrastructure team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies to support business growth and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT infrastructure with business applications
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain our IT service desk and infrastructure-related IT services
  • Implement and maintain high information security and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of related professional experience in an IT discipline
  • A completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist, a degree in computer science or comparable experience
  • Experience with Linux, networking, and automation tools and techniques
  • Knowledge about virtualization platforms and object data stores
  • Ability to lead a team in an agile way and communicate proactively
  • Confident in speaking and writing English (comparable to B2 or above)
